Welcome Penny to the team!


After working as a locum for the past year Penny Gatoff has joined the Rehabilitation for Independence team as Advanced Practitioner Occupational Therapist.

Penny has been working as an Occupational Therapist since 2015 when she graduated from Salford university with a first-class honors degree in Occupational Therapy.

Specialising in carrying out assessments for children with sensory integration issues Penny has been actively involved in setting up school-based therapy services. This practice involves assessing children in their school environment and has led to the establishment of several occupational therapy groups.

Penny has also worked with adults with dementia, her role involved delivering therapeutic activities such as gardening, baking and sensory storytelling. Penny has a wealth of experience with personalised interventions motivating service users to engage in meaningful activities that improve their overall well-being.

Penny brings a variety of knowledge and experience, she is hardworking, self-motivated, proactive and a creative team player. We are delighted to have her on the team!
