The UK’s leading event for the OT community is back!

The Occupational Therapy Show is back. The 2021 event is being held at the NEC in Birmingham on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th November. The two-day educational programme is designed for Occupational Therapists of all bands and specialisms working in health, social care services, housing, education, voluntary organisations, or as independent practitioners.

The OT show is the UK’s leading dedicated CPD education and trade event for Occupational Therapists and Managers working alongside equipment services teams.

We are delighted to announce that at this year’s event our Case Manager and Occupational Therapist Jo Webb will be speaking alongside Deborah Harrison, Director of A1 Risk Solutions on both days of the two-day event. Together Jo and Deborah are presenting on the following topics.

“Avoiding the pitfalls when using a single-handed care (SHC) approach” on Wednesday 24th November

“Integration across Health and Safety care embedding moving with dignity using a SHC approach to facilitate hospital discharge” on Thursday 25th November

Together Jo and Deborah are taking the Keynote: “Negating the Risk” An evidence-based risk assessment tool for moving with dignity using a SHC approach” on Thursday 25th November

The event is focused on making it easier for OTs to find new and updated information and resources to provide an enhanced service, helping their clients with independent living. The event is expected to provide OT’s with the most up to date information, resources and connections allowing attendees to enhance their services and enrich our clients lives.

We are exciting to be exhibiting at the event and we hope you can come and visit us on stand D70.
