That’s a wrap!

A very well done to our teams from Rehabilitation and Support for Independence who were all over the (OT) show this week.

Not only was it a marvellous opportunity to meet with suppliers, therapists, students and anyone with an interest in OT but we joined forces with Deborah Harrison and her team from A1 Risk Solutions to share a stand.

Deborah who is the Managing Director has been working closely with Jo Webb our Occupational Therapist and Case Manager on a research tool for safe moving and handling. Throughout the show, the duo actively presented across 3 theatres and each time to a packed and attentive audience keen to hear about the latest research and development.

Over to the Poster Zone part of the show and you’ll have found Hannah and Sam from the Sensory team presenting. They were selected to present the latest training methods to help staff in schools recognise sensory processing difficulties in children and how to confidently apply the strategies to help calm the child and restore cognitive functioning.

This was the first major exhibition the team have attended in a while, and it was so good to be back at the forefront of our industry, playing our part and ultimately driving the innovation that will help bring independence back to our clients.
