“It’s great to have Mark on a team.  He has a wealth of knowledge, is efficient, flexible & communicates well; establishing a great rapport with families & professionals alike.”

“I have had the opportunity to work alongside Mark with several young people.  I have always found his work to be engaging and well informed. Mark engages readily with the young people he works with.  His style is relaxed but his knowledge and insight is excellent.  It is always heartening to have him as part of the team.”

“I have worked with many Occupational Therapists and Mark is one of the best.  His knowledge of aids and adaptations is detailed and up to date. If I need advice on equipment, I can phone Mark and he will always have helpful ideas and suggestions. He works well as part of the wider team, communicating his ideas clearly and understanding the contribution of others.  In therapy sessions with Mark, we are able to combine handling skills with functional tasks, to maximise the outcome for clients.

Our experience:

We had often wondered what the point of occupational therapy was – endless squeezing play dough & chunky crayons just did nothing for us or our son & then we met Mark!  It is no exaggeration to say he has changed our lives in so many positive ways.

  • Mark has enhanced our son’s life in the following areas:
  • He has worked closely with us & our son’s school, to implement innovative ICT (an iPad, various amazing apps, printer & specialist mouse);
  • He has helped us source & trial equipment (a bionic bed, bike, car, height-adjustable table, an excellent powered wheelchair & fantastic manual wheelchair);
  • He has advised us on toileting, feeding, moving & handling our son – all the important day-to-day things that make such a difference;
  • He has given feedback & expertise in adapting our home, to ensure it fully meets our son’s complex needs;
  • He took us to a Disabled Living event, to illustrate some incredible products that will be helpful to our son;
  • He has provided us with detailed risk assessments & essential paperwork;
  • He has spent an enormous amount of time enabling his school to facilitate full access to the curriculum.

In addition, it is important to note that Mark understands the rollercoaster journey you are on, as a whole family.  He always makes the time to find out how we are & if there is anything we need.  He is a great listener, who has formed a wonderful relationship with our son (& his little brother – something which is so important to us).

Mark is an outstanding individual, who we feel privileged to have in our lives.  He is professional, punctual, incredibly hard-working & completely client-centred in his approach.  Mark cares passionately & is visionary, in terms of his beliefs about getting the best possible outcome, for every single child.  We are beyond grateful for all that Mark has done & continues to do.  Many, many,many thanks.”
