Support Worker – Bury


Support Worker

Part Time hours available supporting Mum with her son in their own home and out in the community. The young man has Cerebral Palsy, behavioural and learning disabilities and Autism. This role will be working alongside Mum, Monday to Thursday between 3pm – 8pm helping after school with meal time and activities to help with his therapy plans and independence. This role will require someone with experience of working with complex conditions and enjoy the challenges that this will bring. Appropriate training and support will be given to the successful candidate.

Located:          Bury, Lancashire

Rate of Pay:    £12 per hour

Hours:             20 per week

About You

Your main attributes will be friendly, approachable and have empathy towards your clients treating them with respect and dignity at all times

You will have a driving licence and be car owner which you will receive mileage for when out with the client. Ideally you will have relevant experience of working with young people with complex condition and will have completed NVQ/Diploma level 2 in health & social care or have equivalent recognised health profession qualification or be working towards this.
