On Wednesday 9th March Nate Goodman, HR and Recruitment Administrator and Andrea Hornby, Senior Rehabilitation Support Worker attended the Salford University Spring Careers fair.

Over 200 students attended the fair across several disciplines including Business, Sciences, Engineering, Arts, Creative, Health and related subjects. This event was a great platform for all who attended, providing an ideal opportunity for all students, whether in their final year and looking for that first position after graduating or needing to do some research about organisations and their recruitment processes. Demand for the event was so high that the organisers had to extend the Careers Fair across the following two locations, The Lady Hale Building and the Allerton Building.

Nate Goodman HR and Recruitment Administrator spent the day meeting students and talking to them. “The careers fair provided the ideal opportunity for us to meet lots of students and talk to them about their plans. The students were very positive about their future and found the careers fair a great experience, enjoying being back in front of potential employers exploring new opportunities”.

Rehabilitation and Support for Independence work closely with the University of Salford and the University of Central Lancashire to give students work placement opportunities, careers advice and training opportunities.
