Occupational Therapy Week, which this year took place from 6th – 12th November, is our opportunity to promote the ways in which our profession improves the lives of patients and service users, and helps to make the health and care system more efficient.

What is occupational therapy?
Occupational therapy  is a science degree-based, health and social care profession, regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council. Occupational therapy takes a “whole-person approach” to both mental and physical health and wellbeing and enables individuals to achieve their full potential.

To find out more about occupational therapist and company director, Mark Rybczynski, read his Q&A here.

There are some amazing short films created by the Royal College of Occupational Therapy which explain via personal stories the work of Occupational Therapist. To view these films visit their YouTube channel here.
