Location: Community based (North West)
Rehabilitation for Independence is looking for a highly motivated Occupational Therapist, with experience in complex assessment and treatment of clients with neurological conditions, including brain injury and spinal injuries.
The successful applicant will join an exciting and rapidly developing team of specialists and will be community based. There will be an expectation to travel to clients’ homes, schools and work places, throughout the North of England. The role involves working with clients, families and support teams; assessing clients’ needs and delivering tailored, client-centred treatment programmes.
The position involves keeping accurate and clear records, with a requirement to write detailed occupational therapy reports, attend team meetings and conferences with Counsel, Solicitors and medical experts, as part of a legal process.
You will need a professional qualification in Occupational Therapy and have at least 5 years’ experience, 3 of which should be in the field of neuro-rehabilitation. You will receive regular supervision from a senior Therapist and CPD opportunities / in-house training programmes.
