Location: Community based (North West)
Rehabilitation for Independence is looking for a highly-motivated Occupational Therapist with the skills and experience to work with children and adults with neurological conditions, including brain and spinal injuries.
The successful applicant will join an enthusiastic and rapidly-developing team of specialists and will be community based. There will be an expectation to travel to clients’ homes, schools and work places, throughout the North of England. The role involves working with clients, their families and support teams; assessing clients’ needs and delivering tailored and client-centred treatment programmes.
The position requires accurate and clear record-keeping, with a requirement to draft detailed occupational therapy reports. You will attend team meetings and conferences with Barristers, Solicitors and medical experts, as part of a legal process.
You must have at least 5 years’ experience in occupational therapy including completing complex assessments and interventions, specialist adaptation and equipment provision, sensory integration and neuro-rehabilitation. You will receive regular supervision, CPD opportunities and in-house training programmes.
If you feel ready for a challenge and the opportunity to work with an expanding and passionate team, who work outside the traditional remits of occupational therapy, please send your CV to email@example.com or call our Clinical Director, Mark Rybczynski on 07917 108298.
