Location: Bury Office

Salary: £21,000 per annum

Contract: We are flexible and looking for a minimum of 24 hours per week up to 37.5 hours per week.

We are a passionate rehabilitation company providing clinical support to children and adults across England, specialising in acquired brain injury, spinal injury and other complex conditions.

We offer occupational therapy and case management services to children and adults living with neurological & physical difficulties throughout the North of England.

Job Summary

  • The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for all company, social media and campaigns.
  • The role will comprise of managing marketing activity for Rehabilitation for Independence and its sister company, Support for Independence.
  • Working to guidelines set by the Company Director following a Marketing strategy which is unified for both companies.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Management of social media presence with consistent engaging daily content for both companies.
  • Production of monthly marketing reports including activity, future campaigns and event schedules.
  • Compilation of monthly marketing reports for marketing meetings presented to management detailing back end stats for web and social media engagement and monitoring of enquiry rate.
  • Building of client database.
  • Creation of email campaign strategy.
  • Assisting with company events both internal and external
  • Maintenance of events calendar for staff, ensuring attendance for a variety of clients.
  • Overseeing of all company marketing materials including liaising with the design company and other external providers.
  • Running of website including update of content such as news, articles and careers. Generation of web traffic and SEO management.


  • Candidate must demonstrate a positive commitment to the company.
  • Candidate must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing within the company and to external agencies.
  • Candidate to work in conjunction with the management team to gain an understanding of the company, ethos, values and goals.
  • Candidate must work efficiently with minimal supervision both with the team and autonomously.
  • Candidate to present idea’s to management on a monthly basis to ensure consistent marketing plans are in place.


  • To identify, work towards and achieve personal development objectives set in conjunction with the supervisor as part of the Continuing Professional Development/appraisal process maintaining an up to date Continuing Professional Development portfolio.
  • To network and share good practice/new initiatives/developments.
