Children’s Mental Health Week 2021

Children’s Mental Health Week is taking place on 1-7 February 2021. We want to support this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week by raising important awareness to help more children and young people get the emotional support they need.
The theme of this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week is Express Yourself. For children being able to “express yourself” is about finding ways to share feelings, thoughts, or ideas, through creativity. It is about finding a way to show who they are, and how they see the world, it can also enable a child to feel better about themselves.

As care providers we recognised the importance of a child’s mental health and have identified some important resources we wanted to share with you.

The event is organised by Place2Be, a children’s mental health charity that provides counselling and mental health support and training in UK schools, using tried and tested methods backed by research. You can find out how to take part and find further help and resources on Children’s Mental Health Week 2021
