An opportunity for a caring and dedicated support worker to work with a young man in his own home and out in the community. The hours are anticipated to be around 26 hours each week working three week days 7:30- 9:30 & 14:30 – 20:00 and alternate Saturdays. This young man requires support for all his activities of daily living and social needs and we are looking for someone who is proactive and encouraging allowing him to flourish and be as independent as possible. The role could be a developing role for the right candidate who shows imitative and compassion.

Your main attributes will be friendly, approachable and have empathy towards your clients treating them with respect and dignity at all times. You will have a driving licence and be happy to drive a WAV taking the client to school and picking him up from school. You will have completed NVQ/Diploma level 2 in health & social care or have equivalent recognised health profession qualification or be working towards this.
