Part Time hours available supporting Mum with her son in their own home and out in the community. The young man has Cerebral Palsy, behavioural and learning disabilities and Autism. This position will be working on a 2:1 basis with another Support Worker, Monday to Friday between 3:30pm – 8:00pm and 10:00am-5:00pm weekends. Flexibility will be required as work patterns will change in the school holidays. The role will be helping after school with mealtime’s and activities to help with his therapy plans and independence and going out in the community at weekends and in the school holidays doing different activities. This role will require someone with experience of working with complex conditions and enjoy the challenges that this will bring. Appropriate training and support will be given to the successful candidate.

You will have a driving licence and be car owner which you will receive mileage for when out with the client. Ideally you will have relevant experience of working with young people with complex condition and will have completed NVQ/Diploma level 2 in health & social care or have equivalent recognised health profession qualification or be working towards this.
